The Bikeability team wanted to say a very big well done to Patryk, who didn’t really want to do the course! By the last day, Patryk was fully engaged and answering all their questions!
Ania Collison, Ella Human, Olivia Williams and Harry Wood went to the Wisbech Grammar School last Saturday to take part in a Marvellous Maths day. The school contacted us to say that the children were a credit to our school and themselves.

Mrs Gant took some Year 5 and 6 children to a Tag Rugby event at Wisbech Grammar School
Each school that took part had 2 children nominated for their great effort
The best boy at the tournament was Jack Caseley

An anonymous person wanted to tell Miss Liddle that she is an amazing Head Teacher
while another anonymous person said thank you to Mr Wilkinson for teaching English, even with a very squeaky voice!
Eva wanted to recognise Joseph for being an amazing little brother
Miss Liddle gave a shout-out to Year 6s Emily, Finlay and Lewis for the very successful Bake Sale they organised to raise money for new library books
Our last non-uniform day was in aid of the NSPCC and the children were asked to come in a number-themed outfit. Each class were given the number 16 and had to make a poster to find as many mathematical ways of getting to the number 16 as possible. Mrs Burch, Mrs Beetlestone and Miss Liddle looked at all the posters the children had made and the winners were:

Mrs Gant made a 200-Square and sold tickets at £1 per square to raise money for new games for the After School Club. The £50 top prize was won by Glenda Baker, who very kindly gifted the money back to school so that we can buy even more games!
Our amazing Year 6 pupils, Emily, Lauren and Finlay, organised a Bake Sale to raise money for new library books. They raised a brilliant £300 and the new books arrived in school this week!

All the classes took part in decorating Christmas trees for the Christmas Tree Festival at Walpole St Andrew’s Church.
