Latest Hot Dinner Menu
The school kitchen would like to announce that it is now providing "in house" meals for the children at Anthony Curton School. This means that as of 31st March the catering service originally provided by Norse Catering Services will cease and we will be independently fulfilling the role in their place.
The school will ensure that the meals provided will remain fully compliant with the School Food Standards and will ensure a healthy and balanced menu. We will be using locally sourced food and will be using suppliers of poultry and pork where traceability goes back to the farm. Our eggs are free range and carry the "Lion mark".
The menus will run on a 3 week rota. A vegetarian option and baked potatoes are available every day for those who prefer a meat free alternative to the main dish. These will need to be pre-ordered daily and will be subject to availability. Fresh fruit, bread and milk are also available daily.
Special diets are catered for and will be available upon completing a request form. A supporting letter from a doctor or dietician will need to be provided.
We also hold a full breakdown of the 14 recognised food allergens in our kitchen and this is available upon request.
All children attending Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are offered a free school meal as part of the Government's Universal Free School Meals for Infants programme. If you receive a benefit that gives entitlement to free school meals the school can also get additional funding, but you must apply to Norfolk County Council to confirm this to the Head teacher. Please check with your school for eligibility.
